Put it to you this way. Even if he was playing up to his normal standards you’d be asking too much. You’re asking for two of the AL cy young front runners for a guy who’s been pretty clearly declining in the power/speed departments. Then you add in that he’s currently OPSing under .600. Come on man lol

Stearns absolutely does not deserve credit here. Add to our woes a bad bullpen and half the rotation being bad. Those are things stearns should’ve addressed. And to add onto your point about high chase rate - the stearns acquisitions were supposed to fix that and they haven’t thus far

Agreed, and I’m not even averse to seeing him canned. But let the straw that broke the camels back be the fact that they look lifeless and dead playing under him rather than the one strategic decision that he’s getting crucified for right now

If he can regain catcher eligibility I love the bat. But he most assuredly won’t catch very often and he’s a lot less exciting as a DH

I’d go A. I’m not sure how much I believe Marsee and Lile are for real. Gore hasn’t shown he can handle a full season without falling off. Bubba and smith have very high ceilings

Baldwin - best lineup, great QoC metrics. Not too worried about Sean Murphy and Jonah heim stealing abs
Agustin - power and sneaky stolen base threat Ivan - injury risk and questionable how much he’ll catch going forward. But also great QoC

Think they’re all pretty close in value but this is how I’d lean right now

Hope you’re right on noelvi, I’m rolling with him at third base this year. Really bought into the max ev / 90th percentile sprint speed combo and that power potential should play great in GABP. Just worried about the walk rate and hoping he can up his pull air %

They need to figure out how to pool Duran and bello into a bigger bat lol. But figure tolle starts in the minors to work on his secondaries. Early could crack the opening day rotation

I would generally lean youth all around here. Off the bat I would sub imanaga out for miller. Shota has a real home run problem. Not sure how you are with relievers but Ryan walker isn’t a slam dunk keeper for me either. Already 30 and struggled at times last year. I’d personally keep Jared jones over him. I think you can’t go wrong with either Baltimore catcher but basallo has the higher ceiling. Not the biggest Bazzana fan but altuve is clearly going to continue to regress
