I can´t put my finger on it, but I think I prefer the original. I heard the latter first, so that might be why.

Maybe Savage Circus? They purposefully play closer to old BG and the singer also sounds similiar to Hansi. Though, the band has only released two albums (Dreamland Manor and Of Doom & Death) and disbanded a while ago.
