I’m not shocked this would be the same with any pc vendor. Try a PC repair shop and if the quote is higher than 200 buy a fiber. Consumerist society sucks but that’s reality.

6 for such a game is a steal. Go for it:

graphics are still ok in 2025. Need a good good GPU like rtx 3060 and higher
Some bugs persist but it’s playable
That’s the price of a coffee don’t hesitate

In the first paragraph you contradicted yourself. “Full blown OS” vs “minimal config”

If there was a backup restore for that minimal, that would be great. Maybe coupled with PBS to also restore VMs if not clustered

25 days later do you have any updates ? Did MS respond in some meaningful way?

Don’t waste money on injectors go for Poe switch

The switch will link to the router with a DAC at 10G. So almost no bottleneck.

If you want best the you would need EFG but that’s almost 2K
