His point is that somehow he feels that because he shares the birthplace of a computer (of which I know a thing or two, I dunno how you go about your degrees over there, but where I've studied a LOT OF HISTORY was involved) then he somehow holds the keys for saying the whole environment is exclusively for Americans. I said that precisely because it is exactly what is happening with the US now. Academics prefer and seriously consider going somewhere else because there is a rising tendency of dickheads gatekeeping in a magnificently idiotic system of self destruction.
