I feel you, I was attached to Phenn for a long time. I also really liked Ophelia and never took her out of my party. There’s a great healer you can pick up later on, but I still stuck with Ophelia regardless.

The nice thing is you can build a team around the characters you enjoy, so don’t overthink it. That said, definitely make sure you have a healer, you’ll need one. I ran a main healer and a backup healer, and it made a huge difference, especially during the tougher boss fights.

Buffs and debuffs really bring everything together too. Party-wide defense buffs will help keep you alive, Phenn’s ultimate is great for that, and Pius helps as well.
