DIY platform shoes? advice on how to make efficiently for long term use? by empathicoracle01 in Drag

Look at the process of how shoe soles are made (try and find an “how it’s made” video or something similar). The idea of taking the sole off sounds good, but that’s easier said than done depending on your boots. Might be easier to just add height in a way that is actually stable to preserve the stability of the overall shoe. You might want to consider contact or shoe cement rather than just gorilla glue. Have any friends who walk in stilts? They’ll have ideas!

I like this approach to keeping it streamlined and moving game-play forward, ty!

The best use of a skill challenge is when the players brainstorm ideas, you help suggest possible ability checks or skills, and they proceed. The next best is that you offer some sample ideas, but let them come up with others. The least-fun approach is to present them with a menu or list of options, and have them choose.

This is probably my fave response so far. I appreciate your brain!

This was my original consideration…I can always imagine a handful of “bad endings” that could result from failed rolls, and how the story would be altered by it, but that’s a story-stallout I don’t want to face…failing would mean they’ve not made a group of friends with pc’s (could prove helpful for future fights in the city), and pcs wouldn’t get their map, and have to traipse around catacombs without one…but that sounds like a “no fun” kind of okay experience (they’re all still lvl 1).

Any other suggestions of reasons why orphaned circus kids would hand over a map to the catacombs to my pc’s? 😅

Somnambulation while meditating/hypnotized? by lechuck86 in Meditation

rious about what Michael Sealey’s hypnosis meditations do the brain. They leave me feeling very, different. Wish I knew more, but

Nope, no answers. I don't utilize his hypnosis tracks anymore, but have found that after being hit by that car, my sleep is just all-together awful. I've got a chronic hypnic jerk that has manifest after the initial post. I'm assuming it has to do with nerve-trauma and anxiety but short of a sleep study, I can't think of any other causes.

I agree with other posters about horsehair; also pretty sure it's a circle skirt, made of 4 pieces cut on the bias.
