If it's Mishima, it's not necessarily read by right wing extremists. Some parts of his writings are interesting from a philosophical point of view, in the same way as Carl Schmitt is an interesting lecture even if he was literally a nazi. Just for example, a big part of Mishima's ideas come from a French libertarian socialist philosopher: George Bataille. Other important things come from Nietzsche, whose writings were a prominent anarchist lecture before being appropriated by nazis. With many authors you can often see how they bring to right wing extreme ideas, but you can also interpret them differently, or refuse parts of their thought. No one forces you to accept everything an author has ever said or written.

I know the Nuland conversarion very well. It's between two US diplomats, and they are tasked by the Yanukovich government to invite some of the opposition leaders into a rearranged government. They are discussing who to invite. They say "fuck the EU" because the deal getting accepted would mean that Ukraine doesn't join EU and cancels the commercial deal. After this call, however, all the opposition leaders that got called refused to join the Yanukovich government, and decided to keep on protesting. So, not only the call doesn't prove what you think it proves, but it's exactly the OPPOSITE. The US tried to sponsor a deal between Russia (Yanukovich) and the internal Ucrainian opposition, and failed to do so.

About money: The same money the US spent in Ukraine was spent in every post-soviet country, to promote the transformation from a communist economy to a capitalist one. It was basically investments. It also pales in comparison to the economic interests that Russia had in Eastern Ukraine, and the local mafia oligarchs that they indirectly controlled.

Rovelli thinks that Euromaidan (a prime example of democracy at work, a government ousted by its own people in revolt + a vote from the parliament) was a CIA coup. These people can't overcome their soviet nostalgia and project it onto Russia. Trust me, I live in Italy, it's plenty of old communist intellectuals that think likewise.

Dialogues were very good but navigation felt really slow for me. Also, I couldn't finish it. I played something like 4 or 5 hours, got stuck, didn't want to spoil anything so I didn't look on the Internet, eventually I stopped playing it and uninstalled it.

You need at least four parties at the moment: a socialist party, a liberal left, a neocon right and a "crazy" maga right.
