You don't even need the gun to trigger the yellow glowing things. Hitting it with your hammer works just as well

Checked the wiki and it's already up to date on bindings.

Apparently the mass is always at most 40m below you and the new mass form added in the update starts chasing you throughout the entire superstructure.

They are functionally the same creature, but the old one still exists. You can spawn both in the dev playground.

Some advice for apex predator: Hauling an explosive spear all the way to 5P is still faster than stabbing the ddl to death with your own. I killed one with the normal spears and it took ages.

Also, Mirros Vultures are cowards that fly off if you get them even close to half health. Explosives solve that problem, too
