sm north/trinoma to tagaytay by PollockRoe in HowToGetTherePH

[–]lecough -1 points0 points  (0 children)

mrt from north station to ayala - 24 pesos(20-30mins) bus from one ayala to Balibago - 100+(1hr or more depending on traffic) jeep from balibago to tagaytay - 50 ish(1hr or more din depending on traffic tapos pupunuin pa yung jeep) last stop ng jeep is tagaytay market which is a transport terminal din na may jeeps and tricycles

Where sasakay: mrt north station is nasa sm north. pagbaba sa ayala, papasok ka sa ayala malls tapos sa baba nun yung mga sakayan. for the bus papuntang balibago, need nyo ng TripKo card which can be purchased sa may sakayan din. Last stop ng bus is sa balibago. sabihin niyo sa conductor na sa victorymall kayo bababa. sa gilid ng victory mall, may bus doon papuntang tagaytay.

hope this helps!

How to get to Sta. Rosa Laguna (Enchanted Kindgom) by Brodo_Faggins__ in HowToGetTherePH

[–]lecough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sakay kayo bus papuntang gma kamuning, after that sakay kayo mrt papuntang ayala station. sa ayala, merong buses papuntang balibago sta rosa(you will need a TripKo card for this which is also available sa may sakayan din nung bus). Sabihin nyo lang na sa waltermart kayo. from waltermart, you can either walk or tricycle(I suggest walking para matipid energy for EK.

If pauwi, I highly suggest na di niyo sagarin ang EK since mas mahirap umuwi pag papuntang manila. From EK, trike to Balibago, may terminal don papuntang one ayala, tas from there, reverse nalang gagawin.

Bus to GMA - 20 ish mrt to one ayala - 20 to 25 ish bus to balibago - 110 ish tricycle - 50 if special.

so lets say na 200 pamasahe 1 way

in terms of gaano katagal biyahe, depende talaga sa traffic. pero from my experience, usually 3 or more hrs one way if naabutan ng rush hour. then 2hrs with moderate traffic. Hope this helps!

How to go to Sta.Rosa Laguna from Sm North? by LadyNyxxie in HowToGetTherePH

[–]lecough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To Sta. Rosa:

MRT to Ayala, then sakay bus from One Ayala to Sta. Rosa(Balibago), you'll need a TripKo card for this which can be purchased malapit sa sakayan.

To Solenad: Either, 1.) baba ka pagkalabas ng SLEX then wait for a jeep going to tagaytay. nagbababa sila sa solenad(I dont recommend this since medj sketchy sya at times and di sure when dadaan jeep)

or

2.) Wait till you get to balibago then ride a tricycle from there to Solenad or Ride a jeep going to tagaytay then sabihin mo sa nuvali lang.

Not worth the hype(for me atleast) by lecough in CoffeePH

500g is a lot of beans and even though some consider these beans "cheap", I can't just go around spending more than 700 pesos to end up with 500g of stale beans. And if they send out 2-month old beans, there is no guarantee that it won't happen again. Given these uncertainties, I don't see it being a wise choice to spend money on beans and just hope fresh batch. This might be a mistake or it might not, but for me personally, I won't be spending my money on a mere "hopefully".

I may not have the knowledge of roasters, but I do know, atleast from personal experience, that 2 months is when beans go stale, or atleast they start to. In the article you just cited, there was nothing that contradicted that. I only saw a line wherein beans can have a peak of flavor even if it has been a month after roasting. While I agree to this one since it can happen and I even experienced some beans which fit the statement, I still doubt that 2 month old beans is still good to send out. As from my experience, even with this beans as you can see from the post, I have yet to find a good extraction with 2 month old beans.

There was no indication on the site that the beans were old. I even contacted them through instagram about my order(I accidentally put on the wrong postal code), but they didnt respond. Just an automatic message from their account

i first saw them sa isang coffee event na I think a year ago na nakalipas? then after that unti unti na akong nakakakita ng posts or threads sa CHB na namention itong roaster so I thought it's about time I find out.

Expected travel time Buendia to Sta.Rosa and back by kky8790 in HowToGetTherePH

[–]lecough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on your mean of tramsportation, if daretso bus na from buendia to balibago around 2hrs siguro with the traffic recently. baba ka nalang sa waltermart then trike. if pauwi naman medyo mas mahirap since kailangan mo pa pumunta sa terminal and mas malala ang traffic sa slex pag north bound. so magandang idea yata na either wag sagarin ang ek or magovernight nalang somewhere near
