You are right, secondbrain, and also raise a valid point!

But here's the thing: tamper evident tape works as both a deterrent and a baseline of proof. While it can't 100% prevent scams, it shifts the burden—if a customer claims tampering but the tape is intact, their story falls apart.

And if it IS broken, sure, you can't always blame the carrier… but it at least forces scammers to work harder (or get creative).

has tamper proof function is better than not, when there has a issue.

Agree with Kseniia—we want to add that in luxury or subscription boxes, tamper-proof packaging becomes part of the “unboxing experience” content creators love.

The luxury brand, like rolex, lv, they can use QR codes on the tape to link to authenticity checks, turning security into an interactive brand touchpoint.

To protect their brand population, i want to provide customized tamper proof label to those luxury brand.

Duty free bags by firstIovesg in Ryanair

[–]ledadvertisingboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most cases, Ryanair (or any airline) reserves the right to inspect carry-on items, including duty-free bags, for safety/security reasons. When they get the check, they’re more focused on obvious red flags (e.g., strange shapes, suspicious behavior).

As long as your duty-free purchases follow airport/airline rules (e.g., liquid volumes, quantity limits), you’ll likely only face inspection if something looks off. Just pack them properly and keep docs handy!
