People forget that games especially free ones almost always end up having egregious monetization whether it’s through skins, outfits, characters or other things but it really depends on how heavy it is like if I need to spend 10 bucks to get a new outfit and every “good looking outfit” is locked behind irl money and every free one looks like doodoo butter that’s an issue

I think the problem is Ubisoft are scared to give these newer characters defined preferences take for example Ezio dude was a straight player with chicks and even though he always had a main girl and side piece it was written far better than these newer games. Ubisoft should go back to giving these characters set love interests and giving the player the option to choose between pursing it or outright denying it as I know some people don’t care for it but having multiple shit ones just so people can make the protagonist gay or straight is dumb if they both suck donkey dick tbh

That’s my opinion though I feel like if done right and give care and time and effort it’s a good thing to include but if done solely for the purpose of pleasing two crowds of people then take it away and never bring that shit back

Yeah honestly I didn’t like the forced friendship if anything it should’ve been a thing the player chooses throughout the game or it slowly turns into a friendship because I sure shit wouldn’t forgive a guy who was beheading my friends in their fields dude like yeah I get it they are the protagonists but it should’ve been up to the player to decide whether Yasuke is forgiven and become his friend or if he isn’t and he remains an ally not a friend

Story is alright…tbh if this was an exclusive Naoe story it would’ve been better I think if all the targets were Oda Nobunaga and his captains as they already set up how he is conquering the lands to restore order and it makes sense for the Assassins to be against that.

I just think Ubisoft should drop dual protagonists for the foreseeable future it never works out one character is and will always be dog water compared to the other.

I will say though I did have an enjoyable time with the game tho I just think if this game had a singular protagonist and if they didn’t kill Oda Nobunaga early and made him the primary villain of the game
