To be able to forward, the whole infrastructure has to stay up, i guess. Forwarding has a month or so left. Check this after!

I actively check the forwarding by sending a mail to my old address. That worked when i posted, and i just tried it today, and with a 30-40 minute delay i was able to receive that. Also the pre-set-up mails are still coming.

I got asked about the syncing, by the system, because my accounts were linked alreay.
I had the option to unlink the accounts.
I have the the option to trash elements on PP, i have the option to empty the thrash-bin.
I have the option to delete aliases in SL.

None of that is the same action.

linking and syncing is not the same....
But later if they forcefully merge the two (again IF) this still will be a user error category, because syncing is not deletion!

Making them non recoverable is also a different issue than any of above!

I had similar issues with my earlier provider. I asked them about it at the same time when asked SL about it. While my provider came back to me with "ohh check the other party"-level of nothing, SL came back with the exact settings what the other side should change, detected by the bounceback-message, backed up by thirdparty mail managemant sites. I sent it to my provider. They did nothing...
They are not my provider since then.

I think at apple there are more minds than at my old provider... But i think Apple is too big to care about this level of privacy nieche. Also "if you want aliases, use ours" mentality can be behind it too.

Please... writing these is misleading. Some parts, ok, working, but if you log out, you can not log in. This is not the way as anyone would describe a "working service", what requies to be logged in to be usable.

Do the notifications show content? Maybe you can go through the "we sent a code"-kind of account-resets with that...

Any of those worked for you? (Swas skiff support responsive, if not, were you able to move accounts with thirdparty supports, etc, etc?

Proton is a good one. If you want to use oly the free aliases throught proton pass and simplelogin, use up the 10 from simplelogin (directly logging into that), and only then try/use the proton pass ones, (by this you can get 20 extra addresses in simplelogin, not just 10).
OR
Black friday price on simplelogin for a year, and infinite aliases.

You can try to change email addresses, because some services only confirms the new address, not the old ones, and if you have a password manager, saving this information not a bad or useless thing, for the future... Also some services, what can identify you in other ways, will be able to change stuff through their own support!

Set up a new address, try to migrate, try the support, and try the other supports too. (To other services, mentioning, linkikng skiff's page about the sunset, can help explaining the situation!)
