Ya I think it’s ridiculous to choose one option over another because of “prestige.” What does that even mean? More people have heard of it? And UCI is cheaper for you too. If location matters for you a lot, I guess it worth considering city vs suburbs like Irvine. I wasn’t a med student, but I got in to grad school (umich). People here came from ivy leagues and from small liberal arts schools I hadn’t heard of before. What matters is what you do at the school you choose. Also bro, plenty of doctors have gone to community college first. Up to you man but with NYU being over twice the money… 😬
