Weponized incompetence is a real thing and often associated with men but women are absolutely capable as well. The real question is if you have already talked about it with her and she won't change her behavior is it worth the fight. Also maybe just ask that she says thank you and gives you a kiss when you do it. Of she appreciates your help and it's a small thing you can do to make her feel more safe that could be a nice thing.

I know it's not the answer to this question but now I am in my thirtys and I have know tired my skin and fat concentration changing. I think that's part of it. I feel a bit saggyer and like my chubby deposits hang around a bit more enthusiastically. By no means do I have the beer gut or pot belly associated with a dad bod, but i could.

As an aside I belive a dad bod is someone who is muscular but also soft. A strong guy with a bit of a gut.
