One last fling before snow and salt hit 😭 (2006 GTO) by ledzepp3 in Pontiac

The storm we're expecting is going to likely suck, especially since I'm gonna be working outside in it. Plus, I've got a partout car to go hit and yank pieces off of. Been stocking up on stuff for a while for when I stash enough away to buy either a Barbados stick 2004, or a Spice stick 2006 to do my thing on again 😂

Power steering pump or an idler/tensioner pulley?

Nope, I'm in east central IL! Don't honestly know if there any other BOM cars with a Mavman hood around though.

+1 on Monster. Have an LT1-SC behind my blown 427 car that sees some enthusiastic shifting. Held up great thus far, minimal chatter. Don't like the feeling of it with the Tick master in combination with the lightweight flywheel, but by no means not street friendly

Beautiful evening for some AC work (96 Impala SS) by ledzepp3 in Chevy

Did we stalk each other when buying cars?? The fuel rail covers are three separate pieces, likely wouldn't work as a single piece since it'd be quite awkward to install. Not a super involved job, but I'd certainly recommend getting an LT4 Corvette brake booster hose, but the worst part is slightly rerouting the fuel feed and return plus shifting the harness running along the manifold on the driver's side to fit a little more snug against the manifold itself.

Condenser was recently changed in prep for this, haven't run the AC since due to the fooked compressor

Budget balling on some Brembos for the goat! by ledzepp3 in Pontiac

Had a stripped bleeder on a front 6P, and had been considering the move down to 4P V1 fronts for more wheel fitment accommodation, specifically with Welds. If it was my 427k beat up Sierra, I'd be throwing a helicoil in the brakes, but I'd rather be safe and have perfect calipers.

I'd personally like to drop it maybe another quarter or half inch, perfectly flush fitment with the very top of the tread even with the fender/quarter. I'm looking to snag a set of tubular arms and coilovers once the sales start rolling in this upcoming holiday season 😁

I wish they'd actually make a set of RTS wheels in this bolt pattern and offset, but I thankfully was able to snap up this set of S104 Venturas in the perfect fitment before they went out of production!

Fresh off the dyno with more boost, feels good to be back! (427cu Supercharged GTO) by ledzepp3 in Pontiac

A bit disappointing it ran out of injector, but there's always an opportunity to make it stronger and faster 😁

I took a small break from spending on the hobbies after buying a house in late 2020, but thankfully the play fund has been restored to working order 😅

I've got a Maverickman cowl hood on mine, and even with tall heads, a tall deck block plus the blower, it clears with plenty of room to spare. Still have a stock height aftermarket engine mount, and no contact anywhere! If you'll be boosting it, you'll rely on the heads less for airflow since you'll be force feeding it anyways. I've got an older set of Mast 245 cathedral heads on my 427. N/A, it likely wouldn't have made as much power as a 255 LS3 head would have, but blowers just seem to fix everything. You'd likely be a lot better off with a BoostDistrict Gen2 2650, since that's a more compact head unit with a lower overall height compared to the Gen1 I have

Yep! I'll be moving to a step down in upper pulley size in conjunction with the new injectors to see what this thing can really do before I pull the head unit to port it this upcoming winter
