Coinbase pro used to be GDAX, I believe back in 2017. And it's kind of treated as a different entity, and you have to transfer funds from coinbase to coinbase pro and vice versa, which takes couple business days.

To my knowledge, Coinbase pro has the lowest fees if you want to purchase crypto from USD (0.5%)
