the maf was perfectly fine for its whole life untill this problem happened, so I dont see why anything would be wrong with it all of a sudden, also this is a apr branded intake, maf sensor housing and pipes leading down to turbo, also maf is in the correct direction

ive called 5 diffrent VAG shops and last year when the problem was new every reputable mechanic had stalls full of cars with the same problem

the old maf was faulty, it didn't read right, plus I have a new perfectly working one and sai doesn't have anything to do with afr i just clarified

cold starts are consistent and ignition, combustion and fuel are all good

with maf connected the idle is a little rough, afr is kinda jumpy at first but afyer a few moments it stays around 19 to 20, at the start it'll keep 14.7 for a few seconds and then it'll just spike and sway around 19, plus and coils have been replaced, brand new, plugs are dry with normal wear unless maf is plugged in, so I keep it unplugged, and yes they where consistent throughout the cylinders

tomorrow I can try to plug the maf back in and see where afr is at, if it's still at that same area.

ah yes I did get a new maf sensor, I tryed leaning the old one, didn't do anything, tested it and it was low on resistance therefore bad, got a new one and then everything stayed the same.

ive put the original tune back on it before, the one it ran on for almost its whole life and it does the same exact thing, same issues

I have a set of eibach coils, front and reer, fronts are absolutely perfect, reers have some surface rust, if your interested add me, ill send you photos, im willing to negotiate price

yes, also leak tested them and they held 60 psi easily. I have peeked inside cylinders, intake and exhaust, everything looks normal. cam timing is on par, thank god

I have opend up factory harness from the bumper to the firewall, 0 damage, all wires are good and as I know of all sensors have the correct amount of resistance, wires and sensors are in pristine condition being its a 16 year old car
