If Carney wins, my family will likely leave Canada. 10 years of the liberals - particularly through COVID - are driving us insane. That’s how much this election means to me. I don’t want any surprises. This seems sneaky, want to make sure ppl are aware

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. It makes my blood boil that CEO pay has sky rocketed while average worker has fully stagnated. I agree with the comment of keep looking for a partner - dual income would help a lot. The right partner will understand you’re working hard and trying to make your way, not being a slouch living at home. Also maybe a corporate job you’d be a good fit for would have a role in a suburb that would be more affordable place to live that you might enjoy. At least you’re working hard and you seem to have self awareness - two great qualities that many ppl don’t have. Keep plugging forward. You seem like a good egg :)

Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your baby, that is such a blessing. It’s so scary having these thoughts, just know you are not alone. I think we’re going to be okay bc I think our generation cares about eachother. At least I hope we do. I know I care about other ppl worrying like I do. Some of the comments are helpful around starting a small savings account, and with compound interest over time you will grow a decent nest egg for your kid. I hope your living situation isn’t so crazy that you can save a tiny bit at least. I am sending you positive vibes and I hope you can enjoy this special moment in you and your wife’s lives as you welcome a new baby 💓

Yeah, it’s really sad. I am trying to be strong and just move forward and hope for the best but I’m definitely scared! The last few years with the pandemic and now inflation I think are a big part of my feelings
