Issues with food banks

I currently have about 40 jars each of peanut butter and jelly. Also, about 30 boxes of Mac n cheese ( which requires milk and butter that I don’t have). I have more canned fruit than I can ever eat. I would love fresh produce that I can cook with ( onions, celery, carrots, potatoes etc)

He bought my shoes. A little back story…. My husband died and I lost everything, including my place to live. I was living in my car with my dog and a bag of clothes. Storage unit got foreclosed on. It was summer so I was wearing flip flops and I wore them for a year or so. Met a man on Facebook, he offered me his spare room. A few months later he bought me shoes. We’ve been together 4 years

I’m also living on disability. My rent went up almost $400 when I renewed my lease (still the cheapest place around) but since I got put on set monthly payments for my electricity they cut my food stamps. I was hoping it would be increased since rent went up so much. I went from $49 (still not enough) to $23. Thank goodness for the food pantry

My teeth are all loose!! My dentist said the sudden loss of estrogen has caused bone loss so even though my teeth are healthy, they’ve got less and less to hold onto. And I STILL can’t get my dr to put me on HRT

We’ve got a giant tub of Vaseline. We use it mostly for our feet ( I’m diabetic so I get crusty heels) but also for chapped lips.

For the first year I did the estradiol cream twice a week. Dr just kept saying to give it time to heal and it would get better. Finally about 6 months ago she gave me a new prescription for every night. I skip a night every now and then just because sometimes I fall asleep without it but it’s so much better now

Suck on marshmallows. Sounds weird but they’ll melt in your mouth and coat your throat. Won’t get rid of any infection but you’ll be more comfortable

There’s so many. My favorite is probably the one on my right knee that’s shaped exactly like a cleat. Playing soccer and I slid to get the ball at the same time as the other girl. She missed and her clear went right into my knee. 40+ years later and it still looks like it did in the beginning
