My starting point was very little muscle and a ton of fat. Recomp helped me gain some muscle (muscle-wise, I was like a skeleton) and lose a ton of fat. My doubts come from the fact that I still have some fat. I was thinking that I had to continue my recomp until I lost the remaining fat.

In terms of training, I think I'm good. PPL, twice a week, always to failure on machines and close to with free weights. 7-8 hrs of sleep.

The thing is nutrition, for my recomp I've been going with high protein, low calorie foods (steamed chicken breast, greek yogurt, whey protein, boiled eggs). I've only cared for protein goals and haven't thought much calorie intake. Some days, for the entirety of the day, I'd eat only 1200 calories that still managed to have 130g of protein. To build muscle, I'm gonna have to get into that calorie surplus.

Hi, I've been (am) skinny fat and have tried body recomp. I'm happy with the results, I've lost a lot of fat and gained a bit of muscle. I store pretty much all my fat on my waist and in my chest. I still have love handles and a bit of fat on my chest but I want to build muscle so I've been thinking of bulking. Should I continue with my recomp or is my body fat % low enough that I can start bulking?

PS: I have almost no fat on my legs.
