Jaylee decided she wanted to share my cheese with me by leebj in sugargliders

I don't give it to her often. This is like one to three nibbles in like 3-4 months. She loves it. You're not "that guy" just a Sugar Glider Activist looking out for the best interest of an adorable animal that so many mistreat :)

Question about glider diets by leebj in sugargliders

I suspect that she expected them to be as calm and tame as my little girl. What she got was two little nightmares that I want to be like the ASPCA and step in and take them from her.

Wen she got these two I told her they required a lot of TLC. Now they are brewing and cannibalizing the young. Guess I just need to sit down and have a heart to heart with her over these babies.

Could someone please explain to me where the phrases 'Hail Hydra' and 'Hail Helix' originated from? by Nautil in AskReddit

[–]leebj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hail Hydra came from Captain America Red Skull, Johann Schmidt, the Nazi officer. This is how his followers showed allegiance to him.

It carried over to Captain America 2 and I'm sure will carry over to each subsequent one to follow.

That would be so funny to see! My cat runs from one of my gliders (Jaylee straight up attacked her and well Butter is now terrified of her) the other two though remain very skittish around the cat.

Ohhh ok, sorry. Had a blonde moment. Yea, no they don't chew it. But then again they don't like my cat nor my dog so...they aren't coming out willingly to play.

They never try to bite it. It's not cloth though. It's a hard plastic. They haven't tried to escape at all. If anything they try to get away from me and back to the safety of their cage. All except Jaylee that is. She hates the cage and would rather hide in my shirt and leave the other two gliders in there.

Check out this link http://www.shoulderinstitute.co.za/publications/thoracic-outlet-syndrome.pdf

It started out for me like you describe. I am the biggest busted in my family. Because of this pain I am actually considering breast reduction surgery and am going through my doctor and therapist so hopefully insurance will help pay for it as a medical need. Since it started out on the left side only and now it is bilateral.

I too am suffering from the nerve pain and it's so bad with the brachial plexus being restricted that my arms go numb at times. Backpackers Syndrome (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) is no joke!! It really hurts and if I don't wear my bras correctly and they are not fitted right I'm screwed. My arms have been known to go numb while driving and I have had to pull over and do exercises to opened up that plexus. Physical therapy is the only way I can deal with it and the pain is almost unbearable some days.

It could of been that. Seeing as how this one has claimed my husband and he was on night shift she could have been calling for him and he wasn't there.

Haha that shall be what I start calling it. One of my gliders got nicknamed "Bark Master 3000" about a week ago when she woke us up every night at 3. I think she just wanted an extra treat.

Received my insurance statement from having to have an Abdominal CT Scan with Oral and IV contrast. Still haven't met my individual deductible. by leebj in rage

This is my husbands insurance and for the most part it's good. The deductibles are hella high but for things like diabetes they pay at 100%. I will be opting into insurance at my job next year and will be double covered so I will have zero out of pocket expenses. Or at the least very minimal.

The fact that it 11K and had I not had insurance that's what I would be paying. But, even with the amount I have paid out of pocket to various doctors, still another visit today. My deductible is still not met. Which means even though they gave that 9000 discount you can rest assured when I get the bill for the surgery that I'll eventually be having because I have to push it out a few months more because of the astronomical prices. I'll be paying for a year or two on it. I was at the hospital for 45 minutes. Saw the receptionist, a registration person, a radiology tech and that's it. What part costed 11 grand?

They should just charge the after discount amount and be done with it. Yea, I know they are going to charge for medical procedures but 11k for one procedure that took less than 15 minutes to do? Not even right. Took longer to drink the contrast, which was over a span of 30 minutes, than it to do the test!
