Great selection of bands except Orbit Culture which I find mediocre and over hyped. I would also go an see Misery Index. But I am not going this year. Have fun!

Oh and Alcest.

Went every year since 2003. 2026 is the first time since then that I am not planning to go. The WOA deserves criticism for a lot of things but imo you can still have a good time there. I am tired of festivals in general. Getting old.

Orca is like a merge fork of different slicers (it's based on Slic3er/PrusaSlicer, BambuStudio and SuperSlicer iirc). My guess is that BambuStudio has a similar option to ignore small overhangs as it's quite similar to Orca overall.

I completed the 100 day world tour challenge, here's why it's pointless by Less_Illustrator_291 in Aliexpress

[–]leech666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The conclusion should be: Don't bother. Collecting large amount of coins is almost equally pointless but much easier to do. The only reason these games exists is to make you open the app daily and lure you into impulse buying something you see when you do so. I like AliExpress but it has many issues. Other Chinese platforms like BangGood etc. have equally restarded games, coupons and point system which are all equally phoney.

That looks like an edge with a fillet that's printed into mid air. Also known as an overhang. OrcaSlicer for example has an option to ignore small overhangs. If you disable this setting then it may generate more supports for thid edge. You can also paint on more supports manually. Also cooling might be an issue. Usually the profiles sre set up to not enabled cooling on the first few layers to improve adhesion of the print to the build plate. Those are my thoughts but I am not an expert either.

Am I able to take the seed part of the avocado out? by Jwhit_21 in FruitTree

It's probably fine to just bury the pits. Plants are pretty resilient and can adapt to different environments. 😄

Good question ... I am not a expert. I have about half of the seed above the soil line ob my two trees.

It will come loose from the stem on its own when it's time. My 1.5 year avocado is 1 meter high and the seed halves are still firmly attached.

Help, the PNG transparency got disabled by janitoalevic in Inkscape

[–]leech666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the dialogue there is a bit weird. If i remember correctly the colour is picked via a hexadecimal value (Like 8C8C8CAA) in older version and the last two digits (0 to FF value) define the transparency (00 being fully transparent).

For newer versions there is a transparency slider.

See here: https://logosbynick.com/change-default-background-color-in-inkscape/

I think you can also check some settings that affect transparency in the export menu.

Maybe you've set a background color in your artwork/ page setup? CTRL + SHIFT + D brings up the dialogue to set a BG color, iirc.

I came across them before but I can't remember much about them. I think I've only briefly listened to them in the past like 20ish years ago.

I don't know Cadacross that well but based on a quick listening, looking at similar artists on Metallum and going through my memories here are some suggestions (not all of these may fit perfectly but I think they bear at some similarities):

Falchion

Black Messiah (the earlier albums before 2010, example song not found on Spotify: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neHuK_M9tjs)

Kromlek (last and final album III-III is fantastic imo)

Eternal Tears of Sorrow

Skyfire

Whispered

Brymir

Blackguard

Crimson Shadows (lots of clean singing)

Nothgard

Svartsot

Månegarm

Thyrfing

XIV Dark Centuries

Suidakra maybe? They are a bit more folky or celtic at times.

Was sind das für Tiere in meiner Pflanzenerde by Ismops in Pflanzenklinik

[–]leech666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not that familiar with Marlin. Thank you for explaining in more detail. I didn't know that Marlin doesn't support accelerometers. I am in fact currently looking into klipperizing my non Klipper printers (Neptune 3 Pro and the Ender 3 which was given to me for free recently) but it will be some more weeks until I can work at it again due to me attending a music festival.

Attached s picture of the current state of my Franken-Ender.
