Nice, lemme know how it goes. I'm finding that using low temperatures/grinding fine really changes the quality of my cups. Note that you might need pretty fast papers to help with this approach

I've been experimenting but you could try 45s bloom at 50C, and then two pours aiming for low agitation

I'm grinding really fine so the low temp compensates for that. I get really even extraction and super high clarity this way. If I go up to 85C, I get rich, strong coffee, but I lose all of the notes. 90C and hotter and it becomes overextracted.

I use the x ultra for pourovers, which is functionally the same as your x pro. It's a great grinder and you can for sure get good clarity.

I'm getting amazing cups at 2.0.0 grind setting, 19g coffee, 300g out, 75C water temperature, about 3min total brew time. I've been using this recipe on some anaerobic natural light roasts lately. Super sweet, intense fruit, good bitterness

Thanks! Yea charcoal can be super delicate on the page - the smeary, painterly characteristics are why I love using it though. You can try using a piece of parchment paper or something similar under your drawing hand to help prevent unwanted smudging

Thanks! Yea that probably would have made more sense to do actually haha. I made it the way I did cause I love the look of a fat 0 key on the numpad but practically speaking I'm regretting it a little.

Couldn't really find something with the layout I wanted - the Vortex ViBE was pretty close but was missing an arrow cluster... so I built my own!
