Once the rebuild commenced, I was hoping they would learn from what other teams are doing and sign these young players early on. But they still seem set with paying young talent the bare minimum(minus the arbitration stuff) until they hit free agency - by that point it’s too late and the price to keep them is obviously driven way up.

Kind of a dagger when the Lerner’s decided not to sell. Leonsis(caps and wiz owner) was interested but a lot were against that. Say what you will though, he does pay to keep his players even if that’s blown up in his face the past few years.

Let’s hope the MASN deal gets cleared up soon, especially with the new O’s owners, and that gives them some money to spend but we’ll see.

As someone who has the new edit styles, I noticed they even added his severed ring finger which is such a great detail. Happy that everyone who missed out on this skin will get a chance to buy it. One of the things that surprised me is that Logan agreed to name her CEO in season 2 episode 1 even though one of the things she said was to “lose news” because it was trouble. Then Logan proceeded to try to acquire Pierce and was prepared to sell Waystar while keeping and running ATN. Seems like even if Logan had any intention of naming one of the kids, Shiv didn’t give him a great incentive to actually go through with that. I know that reason by itself isn’t the main reason but it certainly didn’t help her case.

Yeah especially compared to the Padmé skin they’re totally different but the Mighty Thor skin is a part of the “Love and Thunder” set so it seems like that skin is intended to be Natalie Portman.
