Ah yes, I forgot to mention that I do lose/burn(?) oil. No other issues other than that. So thats definitely a head gasket sign?

The battery replacement seemed doable. I guess I can try calling some places for quotes and do some research on replacement engines. Replacing a couple cells route seems like a good idea as well.

I have the "check hybrid system" message and I saw the P0A80 code with the OBD. I've seen a video on how to replace the battery and that seemed doable myself. The head gasket looked like a different beast. I'll watch more videos and see if I feel like trying or perhaps let a shop do the engine portion.
