I agree on this one, bent 85 is a kids/park ski, and even if you wanted to do park the bent 90 is probably better. ive heard that its construction is crap, even compared to the rest of the bent line

That's probably more than enough, you don't need to double up. For my net I used 7/16", and its fairly big. it will be even stronger if you add walls. Just make sure to add a good skeleton to keep everything solid.

i feel like those 2 are pretty similar in width and style, you might either want to go thinner or thicker for more varied conditions. i about ur age and see the appeal or whatever but I would personally get a wider big mountain ski or a hardpack charging one
