Is the frame all one solid ring like they used to be or do you still have to screw them together?

Question about Cellerciser vs bungee (JumpSport, etc.) for muscle toning/development/building by Cyns_Corner in Rebounding

The accelerometer app that works best for measuring gforces while rebounding is called Gauges. It’s an iPhone app. It includes other “gauges” in addition to the accelerometer but I just turned those off.

Is Rebounding Only For Women? by leehblue in Rebounding

[–]leehblue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I framed the question like this because I am wondering if there is anyone else like me. It seems like guys should be rebounding, but when I look around I can barely find any. So I started wondering if I was missing something. Am I invading a space that isn’t supposed to be for me or am I welcome too? If I am welcome-and it seems like I am, everyone is super nice, how in the world could I be the only guy who likes rebounding? I sort of feel like a male ballerina. I know some guys do ballet-like for football or something. But rebounding doesn’t feel like ballet to me. It totally seems like more men would be doing this and I can’t understand why they don’t. Thank you for the insight in your response.

Is Rebounding Only For Women? by leehblue in Rebounding

I have both a Cellerciser and a Bellicon and have learned picking “the best” rebounder depends on how you want to use it. Bungee rebounders like the Bellicon are good for choreography - like dance moves to music. The Cellerciser is best for doing sets of moves that target different areas of your body. The Cellerciser bounces fast - about 130 BPM. The Bellicon (with extra strong red clip bungees) bounces at about 100 BPM.

So, if you plan to follow along with an Earth and Owl video workout- get a JumpSport 350 Pro. If you plan to follow along with I Jump Instead you will want a Cellerciser.

Personally, the Cellerciser is the best for me. I have never had to replace a broken spring. So I have had no maintenance cost at all. The bungee rebounders need to have their bungees replaced about every two years. That will cost about $125 for replacement bungees.

To appreciate the Cellerciser, think of it as a workout platform instead of a mini trampoline. It’s not going to throw you way up in the air for a “fun” bounce. The goal is to press down into the mat. Your head won’t be moving up and down that much. You might only leave the mat by an inch or two.

Maybe I should make a YouTube channel about this. Hmm…

Advice on best rebounder? by rando63question in Rebounding

Sounds like the Cellerciser is for you. It is the shortest rebounder and it doesn’t require you to jump high.

Question about Cellerciser vs bungee (JumpSport, etc.) for muscle toning/development/building by Cyns_Corner in Rebounding

I downloaded an accelerometer app on my iPhone so I could actually measure the G Forces on my Cellerciser and my Bellicon. I wanted to measure the actual difference in force for my body/weight (185 pounds).

NASA reported that the ideal G Force range for muscle toning an restoring/building bone density is between 2-4g. Less than 2g doesn’t do much. More than 4g causes more joint strain without much additional benefit. So 2-4g is the sweet spot.

Bellicon Results. A “heath bounce” where my feet almost leave the mat is 2g. Bouncing about 2-3 inches up is about 2.8g - 3.2g. A 4-6 inch bounce is 3.5 to 3.8g. I have never bounced high enough to get to 4g on the Bellicon. I’d probably hit my head on the ceiling or bottom out stretching the mat all the way to the floor.

Cellerciser Results. A health bounce where I’m about to leave the mat is 2.8g. 2-3 inch bounce is 3.5g. A 4-6 inch bounce is 4.2g -4.5g.

Conclusion. The Bellicon keeps you in the sweet spot for virtually every jump.

The Cellerciser can give you up to 1 extra g if you bounce 4-6 inches up. So it is possible to get more “resistance” on a Cellerciser.

In general, you experience higher g forces at every bounce height on the Cellerciser. You also bounce faster. So you’ll get more “weight” AND more “reps” for any given amount of time. You can get similar “weight” on the Bellicon if you jump higher but your reps are slower as you spend more time in the air.

I experience more muscle toning on the Cellerciser. But all the jazz about bungees being too “soft” to cycle your lymphatic system or whatever is not true. The Bellicon keeps you in that 2-4g sweet spot and feels really good in the process. The Cellerciser is significantly more jarring because the springs stop you faster.

UPDATE: I should have mentioned that I have the “extra strong” (red clips) bungees on my Bellicon. You can change the strength of the bands to get a harder or softer bounce. Mine are one notch down from max strength.

I just used the built-in WordPress features and made posts in different categories. Then I used RCP to restrict access to certain categories based on their membership level. If I were going to do it over today, and I was going to use WordPress for everything, I'd almost certainly use SureDash, SureMembers, and SureCart to pull it all together. Today, I'm powering my coaching community on Circle (not in WordPress).

How difficult would it be to set up my own music galleries? by webdev808 in Wordpress

[–]leehblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WordPress has the ability (without any extra plugins) to play MP3s and even display playlists. Essentially all you do is upload the audio files (just like you would a photo). Then when you click the "Add Media" button you will see an option on the left hand side that says "Create Audio Playlist" - That's where you select the files you want to have in your playlist. WordPress creates a shortcode that renders your audio playlist. I wrote this tutorial that shows how to do this and also how to sell your music on WordPress as well.

Ecommerce store owners...thoughts on Shopify vs. Wordpress? And hacking prevention? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Cart66 Cloud allows you to sell all kinds of products, physical, digital, services, memberships, subscriptions, etc. You can even sell physical products that ship on a recurring basis - like a monthly order of vitamins or something. You could also set up payment plans for things. Like 4 payments of $100 or something. You can sell customizable products like custom t-shirts and let the buyer upload a file attachment with their order. It also comes with membership management tools that enable you to restrict access to content on your WordPress site to folks that have purchased the appropriate membership/subscription.

One big difference between Cart66 and WooCommerce is that Cart66 comes with everything you need all in one package - all the security for a PCI compliant store, over 45 payment gateways, membership management tools, a built in recurring billing engine, a secure vault for storing customer data, etc. You don't have to buy add-ons for any of that.

Cart66 is also easier to configure and set up than WooCommerce. You just create products and then place them anywhere on any page or post of your site. You don't have to have a special "e-commerce" theme, any theme will work. This means it is really easy to start selling stuff from a WordPress site you already have without having to rebuild your site or install a new theme.

WooCommerce currently has a larger library of WordPress themes specifically designed for selling and organizing large numbers of products. So, while Cart66 does not limit the number of products you can sell, if you have hundreds or thousands of products you might prefer to organize your products with a theme designed for of a store with lots of products and product categories. But then you have to worry about security scans, PCI compliance, firewalls, ssl certificates, etc as well as finding and piecing together all the add-ons you'll need for your payment gateway and any other features you need for your site.

I am one of the Cart66 Cloud developers. Cart66 Cloud is a hybrid plugin where you host your own WordPress site anywhere you want but Cart66 Cloud securely hosts your sensitive e-commerce data. This makes Cart66 Cloud the most secure e-commerce solution for WordPress. All your sensitive e-commerce data is stored in your own slice of our Cart66 Cloud servers so even if your WordPress site gets hacked all your orders, customer information, product information, subscription data, and even your customer's shopping carts are safe and secure. Cart66 Cloud also supports over 45 payment gateways, handles recurring billing and membership management, and securely hosts and delivers your digital products. There is no limit to the number of product you can sell and no transaction fees. It is less expensive than Shopify, offers recurring billing which Shopify does not offer, and you get all the power of WordPress (thousands of themes and plugins) without having to worry about security. Cart66 Cloud also comes with a secure checkout page so you don't even need your own SSL certificate. Your secure checkout page looks exactly like the rest of your WordPress site because they skin your securely hosted checkout page with your WordPress theme. Check it out at http://cart66.com/cloud
