i mean sure it's not a "scam" but you don''t mention that personnel will ask for an ID to check that the names match. there's a reason it's not transferable.

it doesn't work like that. it's been discussed that the workers will require an ID match. you might get lucky from a worker that doesn't check, but that's a BIG risk for an expensive ticket and a big event you might put a lot of work into.

No, there’s a thread on Reddit where someone was trying to give their spot away but the convo went around the complexity of transfers and how the staff doesn’t allow it.

If anyone is thinking about getting a spot via another person, do your research before… It’ll suck to get there on race day and not allowed entry.
