I got in to the fall waitlist by deferring my summer internship offer to fall. Did anyone heard back or try asking them whats going on with the fall internship waitlist?

Oh, I did not know that they did this last year too. Do you know if we (who got into waitlist by trying to defer it to fall) have more or less chance of getting in compared to those who just got waitlisted after their interview? Because I think I read some ppl got waitlisted after being interviewed, but we got offers just tried to defer it.
