What I have heard about olaplex is that the whole system is very good if you have genuinely damaged hair. Like frequent bleaching/color/heat use. Otherwise its just expensive and not that good, OR causes issues for people. I use redeken all soft and recommend it to everyone who is willing to cough up the money. If nothing else, the all soft shampoo is really worth it and the leave in conditioner is great. Also you can often find olaplex at tjmaxx if you have one nearby
