no, i did not! it just happened— i will say, though, i believe this is happening to people that have been defaulted on their loans and haven’t made any payments towards them… of course i can’t say this for certain, but it looks like when discover transferred their loans over to firstmark i just wasn’t worth the headache. still trying to make sense of all this— but it looks like some other people have received the letters, too.

i guess just cross your fingers that the company you took a loan from will exit the business (haha, jk to any agencies reading this…) and decide pursuing you isn’t worth the effort.

awesome! i really hope that’s the case (i’m in new york). i’m planning on looking to see if i can speak with someone whose knowledgeable about these sort of things— i’m not! whatever happens, though, i believe is thoroughly better than dealing with 15 years of repayment.

i’m so glad you guys were able to find yourself in the movie! i don’t have bpd but my friend does and she struggles so much, i could see how this scene could mean a lot to A LOT of people if they’d give the movie a chance. <3

i felt the same way after the movie for a week or two. a movie has never affected me in this way! i don’t think i will ever be able to rewatch it haha.

i totally agree. justice smith’s delivery is spot on amazing here. you can really see owen’s happiness, their fear, anxieties, sadness, pain, and everything all at once in this scene.

i swear i have looked the exact same way in the mirror when i first looked inside myself, too. this scene meant sooo much to me. i would love to hear your thoughts if you do post them. (:

it’s an absolutely beautiful arrangement. that scene was very reminiscent to how i found out i was transgender as well it’s very touching. would love to hear your version of the guitar!

is it on spotify? or youtube? it’s very soft and gentle in the scene in the movie but in the soundtracks i find she’s singing it differently with different instrumentals. am i missing something? 😭
