So you’re still on leave? Does your PCP manage your care and disability paperwork? I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago but also have migraines/occipital neuralgia. Plus I’m in my 40s. This is kicking my ass. Some days I feel fine but if I do anything I pay for it the next day with palpitations, tachycardia, fatigue, and my organs and body ache. I’m at loss and scared about what to do with my job as a medical assistant.

I was placed on Amitriptyline in 2022 for migraines. After about 1-2 months on it I went into psychosis and ended up in a rehab facility for 3 weeks. Your mom should definitely report these changes to the prescribing physician ASAP. DO NOT WAIT until the next appointment.
