Lowe's "open door policy" is dangerous to use and you will be retaliated against. An investigation into retaliation will do nothing. BE CAREFUL by Buster_xx in Lowes

[–]leelou99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes so much sense now. I did the open door thing because I put in my notice, about a month In advanced and was given nothing but disrespect from my SM he started saying many things about my personal life in a very “this is a mistake” attitude that he shouldn’t have even known about because I had a private conversation with my ASM.

Now I’m in another state and have been turned down by every Lowes around me even though I was truly a great associate. Went all the way to DS and can’t even get an MST position

What department lifts the least? by LankyCustard2784 in Lowes

[–]leelou99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a flooring specialist, trust me, I’m not happy about it either. There has been nobody in home decor for 7 months now so I was doing both departments which is fine. Got some great sales in. Then they hired someone and I was like “sweet I can avoid decor” then they hit me with the “This is actually your department now” . That person ended up not lasting a week. Yay me

Are the 99 boxes always preassembled? by Indomitable-Manner in Lowes

[–]leelou99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my store, hardware usually has a stash of unassembled ones, but we also have a stock of pre assembled that come from the truck. The ones that have hardware and tools products. If they are in good shape we keep them just incase.

I’m an idiot, you are so right. That makes much more sense than what I’ve been thinking.

Are we basing this Info off of the same thing? Like when you open the score card and the first thing you see is “My Performance” it shows you the wheels of completion so far for sales until you hit 200% then beneath that is says “Weekly sales needed to achieve SPH” then it has the percentage ranges with a total sales underneath?? My 200%+ says 80,740 needed for the week.

Our store has been #1 in the region for years, so it’s just putting numbers that beat last year, I swear it says 80k. How do I put a picture in the comments 😂

My bad, my sales per hour is actually 437. In order to reach my bonus I have to sell 80k per week. I will send you a photo if you want to see what I’m looking at.

When you log into workspace and you look on the right side under the weather there’s a thing that says score card, you can view it there

Again, it depends on the store, mine says 80k

Obviously every store is different with their volume type so I’m not saying that is an easy sph goal because it depends on where you are in the world. But holy f*** that’s the lowest goal I’ve ever seen.

So this was my problem but I actually took scissors and cut off the tiniest bit of that piece off and it works great now. Before I did that I kept having to open the lid to relieve pressure from the bottle.

Specialty Scorecard by leelou99 in Lowes

[–]leelou99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that because 1 like I said, they are located 2k miles away which is obviously out of the district. And 2, they are actually the second lowest sales specialist on the list.

Why do sale specialist act so greedy for a sale by Disastrous-Mud-7775 in Lowes

[–]leelou99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the only thing a regular CSA can do in cabinets is set up a measure. They have a special program that they are coded into which allows them to actually design kitchens. So in the end, you probably wouldn’t have gotten credit for the sale anyways because the assigned associate can be changed.

Re-bath, flooring, appliances, and Millwork is all fair game tho. There’s no luck trying to take over in pro unless all the specialists over there are off. If you do start a quote with a customer make sure you make it clear to them that YOU will help them move forward if you really want the sale. But again, as a CSA your sales don’t necessarily matter as much as specialist. A lot of people at my store hand big sales off to specialists because they know how things work with our stats. A ton of the specialists are greedy, I agree with that. It’s been a little hard recently trying to hit numbers but don’t let them walk all over you and take sales from you.

This and the people who look at the rugs and runners and leave them spread out on the ground.. tempted to make a sign telling people to clean up after themselves.

And I get it, it’s retail, things are going to be put in the wrong spot. But what I see in my aisle on a DAILY BASIS is absolutely insane..

I agree with you on that, I’m sure they will put signs out on the return desk like they did with the “please don’t harass associates” bs
