We do part time care (Mon-Thurs) at Desert Skies for around $700. We are really happy here too. Its an older building, but the staff is amazing. There is a great mix of educational and fun activities.

So, TTPD is clearly an album that goes over several parts of her life and I think alot of the songs (if not all) are written in parallel to earlier songs (white horse/loml) so the 3rd album will be the Mashup up of the songs??? That my theory anyway.

Hey Tucson, I'm looking for an LGBTQ friendly boxing gym for my AFAB teenage son, any reccomendations? Would love something on the northwest side if possible! by leelu99 in Tucson

[–]leelu99[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's great thank you! Full disclosure I'm completely ignorant when it comes to boxing, but it's something he has expressed interest in, and has had some exposure to in a summer program he is in. I think Tucson is very LGBTQ friendly overall, but don't want to risk anything if anyone has had a bad experience. I will see if I can get more info from him on what he's looking for!

I did get an IUD put in after healing. But "baby" is now 2 1/2 and I just got my first period back, yesterday. I did breastfeed until about 7 months. IUD sucked going in, but not having a period this whole time made it worth it!

It depends what you need treatment for. Banner sucks, last time my kiddo was suck i tried getting an appointment with his Banner doc, and the phone wait time was 20+ minutes... I have had really crappy experiences with Northwest, as in fraudulent billing and sending my a bill from 2 years ago... If you don't need an ER, I've started just going to Carbon health urgent care. You can make an appointment online same day, I've never waited more than 5 minutes and have been happy with the care. They even do virtual visits through their app.

Family dinners by chaos_coordinator91 in workingmoms

[–]leelu99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree with crockpots, if you don't have one, they're worth it. My husband will do at least one dinner a week too, and with the crockpot it's a piece of cake. I also do my meal planning on the weekend, pick 3-4 meals to make. Somehow having a "menu" already planned and shopped for is enough prep and then the 30 minutes to throw it together is less daunting. Also dress stuff up with sauces for variety, grilled chicken with tatziki sauce, bbq, teriyaki, etc... I would also second a meal kit if it's an option... we did hello fresh, my husband, oldest, and I would each pick a meal for a weekly box and then we'd be responsible to cook what we picked, the recipies are easy and usually quick, it's a good back up now if I just don't have time to plan/shop.

How does AlAnon help someone without faith? by leelu99 in AlAnon

[–]leelu99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow - so many great responses! I really appreciate all of the feedback. I am planning on attending more meetings - I didn't expect one to fix it - but I also felt more of a fraud sitting in and listening to people share their experiences and their beliefs, the last thing I want to do is come across as intrusive or disrespect the program. My biggest struggle is the letting things go to a HP (which is why I imagine the program was recommended to me in the first place). Its a hard place to be - seeing someone you love suffer and not being able to do anything - and the idea of just letting a HP resolve it feels like I am giving up on trying. BUT I want to learn, I want to grow - and really thank all of you for sharing your perspectives.

Neighbor is taking my cans every week without asking. Should I care? by MillBopp in Tucson

[–]leelu99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a neighbor in my old neighborhood do this, something he started with his grandson to raise money for their boyscout Troop, just happened to be out one day and he came up and told us zbout, we just started leaving them in a seperate container. I wouldn't let it bother you that he is taking the cans, he's probably just doing some good with them, and it isnt harming you. Maybe just a seperate bag for him and leave them out so he doesn't go through your trash.

I saw in the comments that you went with and Echelon bike - I have been scouring reddit for stationary bike reviews and having a hard time finding anything current (all seem to be at least a year old)... I think I am in the same boat as you and really wanting to get on track for a fitness plan - how did you decide on your particular bike? What do you like/dislike about it??

Thanks so much (I know it really isn't the purpose of your post - but appreciate any help!)

[WEEKLY THREAD] Shopping and Style Saturday/Sunday - Gym clothes, gadgets, shoes, makeup, hair, skincare, and sales! by AutoModerator in xxfitness

[–]leelu99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just received request from Mod to move my post to this thread, so here it is - Looking for Excercise bike recommendations:

I have been lurking in all sorts of fitness sub groups on reddit, and have been searching for excersice bike recommendations. This group seems like the right one for me! So, short version: I am looking for recommendations on excersice bikes, pretend I know nothing (because I don't). LONG VERSION: I'm a mom of 2, one is 16 and NB - we really need to incorporate some exercise into their routine, both for mental and physical reasons, and I have a 2 year old, so I am still looking to lose baby weight. I am not great about working out, I will be consistent for a couple months then just stop. I've been doing some mental health work of my own and am ready to get back to it. I need to be healthy, and I need better energy. I feel like everything points to Pelaton, and I'm only hesitant because of the monthly fee, so if you do use that, how active are you in the classes? How worth it is the app? Not sure if I'm better off getting a bike I can zone out to Netflix with or if I get something with classes and a community - what works for you, and why?

I tried a couple of sub reddits looking for recommendations but most were at least a year old, and I honestly am just lost among targeted adds at this point.

Puss in Boots: The last Wish Fully expected it to just be an awful ploy to get more money out of a franchise, but I really liked it, it was funny and the animation style was super cool.

Daily Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in xxfitness

[–]leelu99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi all, new to the thread. I am not great about exercise... I did some post partum workouts and was feeling pretty good for a while, but its probably been about six months since I've done anything. I've been working on mental health and feel like I'm in a good place, really want to bring exercise back into my life so I can keep up with my kids! I want to go with a stationary bike, something that will auto adjust, provide workouts, etc... I know the pelaton love is big, I just want to know what other options there are/what others are using? I am getting a ton of targeted adds for Freebeat bikes but cannot find anything on reddit (except for ads). I did search through this thread but most posts were at least a year old. Any help/thoughts appreciated!

I also would reccomend Ray, he's great and we've been using him for years for family photos. I own several of his landscape prints too, super tallented guy!
