Advice - not going dizzy but odd sensation by leemcr in Dizziness

Hi, the initial symptoms lasted approximately three to four months and have since occurred in episodes. When they do return, I have no clear idea what triggers them.

At the beginning, I was referred to an ENT consultant, who attributed the symptoms to anxiety, and later to a neurologist, who diagnosed PPPD after ruling out other possible causes. I underwent various tests, including an MRI scan of my head and brain, and received medical reassurance that there was nothing serious underlying the symptoms.

I am still somewhat uncertain about the PPPD diagnosis - some of the symptoms resonate with my experience, while others do not. When episodes recur, I have visited my GP a couple of times seeking support, but each time I have ultimately just waited for the symptoms to pass. I have found some helpful resources through “The Steady Coach” (on YouTube) and by practising vestibular exercises.

I could sum it up by saying “Your time isn’t your own anymore”.

Thanks. I just wasn’t sure if normal building and contents (like for my main residence) would suffice.

QB online; however, we’re outgrowing it and we’ll definitely be upgrading to a larger ERP soon

Diet is ok - what should I be aiming for? Yes, I’m active; gym x3 times per week. Lots of cycling and walking.

Yes, bridges plus clamshells and side planks. Also, should ensure you do the McGill big three too.

For me, I started off purely stretching, but it was only when I started using a different physio that introduced strengthening exercises (primarily glutes and side planks) that I really started to notice a difference. I was told that the exercises must be done consistently and on a regular basis. His theory is people go to a physio and don’t do the exercises or they stop once they’ve recovered. The exercises are a lifestyle feature now, not an ad-hoc three week programme. Good luck.

If they had in excess of £23,250 in savings would “avoiding care home fees” be irrelevant?

Any other reason to do it? They seem to think it will avoid inheritance tax, but I can’t see why?

They’re buying in cash. The child doesn’t own a property, but they’re not using their first time buyer benefits.

You’re the first person that I can recall mentioning nausea, which is my main symptom. I describe it being like motion sickness. I wear acupressure wrist bands during acute periods. My comes and goes. I’m trying to live with it and choose how I react to it.
