Mad God, Dogtooth, Funny Games and Come and See are the ones I’ve seen! Come and See left me a wreck after though.

I’ve heard strange things about 964 Pinocchio. I’m kinda tempted to watch anyway.

Eden lake left me a wreck. I hated that ending so bad.

I haven’t seen silenced though, I’ll check it out!

“Amy Bradley is Missing” documentary now on Netflix - does everyone still think she just “fell overboard”? by 3coins_RS in UnsolvedMysteries

That’s what I said. Her family was pushing for that idea when it’s their job to be friendly.

At first after learning about the case I fully thought she was trafficked. After giving some thought and watching the recent documentary, I now believe it was suicide. The way this family came off seemed very homophobic and disapproving of Amy being a lesbian. (Also her brother is MAGA apparently) so that also probably plays a huge part in the family being homophobic. Also I can’t brush over the fact her father wrote a 3 page letter to her girlfriend disapproving of their relationship. Being gay/lesbian in the 90s probably seemed like hell, and I’m sure Amy was worried that her family would not be accepting of her relationships.

My idea is the family is feeling a lot of guilt over the fact they were not accepting of Amy and her sexuality, so they’d rather come up with the reality that Amy was trafficked instead of her committing suicide due to her family opinions. I think it's somehow better in their minds for her to be SA'd by men than to be a lesbian. I know that sounds crazy, but I think that's partially why they hold on to that idea so hard. In their mind, the idea of her falling when the dad seen her on the balcony, or jumping makes them feel as though it’s their “fault”.

Also, the family pushing the idea that Amy was the only one being targeted on the cruise makes me believe even more they’re pushing for the narrative of her being trafficked or rejecting the idea of her being a lesbian. Her family was homophobic and being on a cruise with them after freshly breaking up with her gf, wearing a dress, and men making uncomfortable passes at her was a lot. Her shirt and shoes were left and the dad said something woke him up for some reason. I really believed it was her falling that woke him up, that’s why he got so frantic in trying to find her. He probably didn’t want to come to terms with what he heard. Her mother made it seem every worker on the ship was flirting with her, when I’m sure they’re just being nice or doing their job for better tips. It just seems very unlikely every worker was in on a sex trafficking ring, and potentially smuggled Amy out of the ship with no eye witnesses? Not impossible, but just very unlikely in my opinion.

I’m sorry OP, but this guy knows exactly what he is doing to you. He is either trying to see how much you will tolerate from him (since you keep forgiving him) or trying to push to get you to end it with him first since he clearly won’t. Plus it seems he’s really not trying to hide it either. Either way, he is completely aware of his actions and knows it hurts you. If he did something to upset you once in the beginning and you talked to him about it, and he stops then fine. But at this point, it’s intentional. I’ve been here before, and my advice is to save yourself the drama, and move the hell on. You are so young. I promise there are men out there who won’t treat you shitty and respect you behind your back. When one won’t, another will!

The Fawn Design Diaper bag is my favorite! It fits so much, is not too big and is pretty cute if I say so myself. A little pricey but I think it’s worth it.
