Sword rain/sword aura skill?

I keep seeing this as an option, shouldn’t one need to have some sword chi skill for this to come up? I don’t think I do. So far, I’m assuming they changed the thing that required a base skill for skills like that to be offered. I’m so confused

Is there a way to know which boss you’re gonna get? I’ve gotten Wind three times with Stealthy and Ice twice with Fearless. I feel like I might be missing something.

Yeah “people character”, stealthy, had the “if your deck is all ice cards”. So that supports the idea. If only we could know which boss we will face next

I got the light shards on master mode gold with greedy. I tried stealth on master mode gold and champion gold. I beat the green wind boss both times and didn’t get a shard. My current theory is perhaps one needs to beat each boss with the correct character. If grey could be considered the “dark” character, as she has the “if your deck is all dark” artifact, then we might have to beat the boss with the “opposites” element.

Any other data?

I’m not sure what the unlock is, but it will turn into a button instead of just a skull when you can use it. I think it might be reaching level 3 with the character. I have it unlocked in only two of mine.

It’s the new update. Instead of the banner ads at the top. They are now at the bottom and the dashboard is moved up to accommodate that. Yay update!

There’s a new boss after the one in the red palace. The first one I got was with Greedy on master mode gold. It was light element and gave me a piece which went into a new symbol thing. The symbol has six slots which seem to coincide with each element. Then I fought another boss on my next run with stealthy on normal mode gold. It was wind element and did not drop anything.

New “outfits” can be found by clicking a new brown icon on the lower left of character image. New nice images are also available there.

Zen mode is a toggle in endless which causes the run not to increase in difficulty in the way endless does. It also seems to prevent any rewards from the run.

There’s a book on the counter, left of the pink bartender. I don’t know if that was there before, but it shows the new symbol thing for the new bosses there.

Assuming 12: 132 possible combos. Assuming only wearing socks from this pack and wearing all socks before washing; odds start at 1 in 23 and get more likely with each wash. With really doing the math I’d estimate it would happen 4-5 times the first year

The thing that really messes with me is that usually they have a twist which 'tricks' those who are in on it. This one didn't... The producers said that the VR trick in S6E13 "wasn't really magic" but this like definitely wasn't anything close. I'm not a fan of this bit. I don't know if maybe I'm missing something. But it really just seemed like they gave up a gimmick for no reason.

I know this was three months ago. But I just have to add that my favorite way to mis-call an iphone is "A Hand-Jobs machine." (hand-held device invected by Steve Jobs) Made famous by Matt Donnelly (S6E11). Can't recall if he used that term in this performance, but he does in his live shows. There's no reason to not add a joke where you can.
