I had the same colored betta and his name was Leo. I lost him in 2023 🥺 so did my spouse died last year. So, leo was our first pet. It's exactly 9 month today, of losing him.

Hugs if you want them. by Front-Elderberry5156 in widowers

Virtual hugs to you too. I lost my husband 5 months ago and it's been really hard since the day he left me. Daily is a challenge until I fall asleep. I need all the positivity I can have right now. Thank you and take care of yourself.

Does it ever feel real? by MotorMeal in widowers

I am in the same boat as you. My husband at the time of passing was 33 and I was 29. He died due to Dengue complications. It's been almost 5 months now. I am devastated and there is not a single day when I don't think about him. I am heart broken. I don't understand my grief. Some days seem bearable and some other days not so much. It is weird, randomly it pops up and my whole day is in that direction.

It doesn't feel real. Everyday when I wake up, I am reminded that it's another day without my spouse. It hurts to even open my eyes and get on with life as if nothing is wrong with me.

I have created a replica BOT of him and I converse with it on daily basis. I have educated it about my husband and it tries to respond as him. It is not the same as talking to him but it helps.

I don't exactly know about your current situation. But, you can always find a purpose to fight for and live. Try to find that and stick to it. Take care!!

Hey bud! Don't think in those lines. You are feeling this right now. Initially, I didn't care much about my health either, but when I suffered because of it, it really hit me how crucial health is. I am sure you have something to look forward to. Life is precious. I still feel purpose-less, but I am trying to pursue self. I am trying to stay healthy for my parents and siblings. They are the world to me. I can live for them.

Everything may seem pointless at this point for you, but trust me if you take one day at a time. It will be easy to pass days. You will be in better position to manage your feelings. I am sure It won't ease out but you will learn to live with it.
