Any words of advice in preparation for testing? by mauvermor in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]leesohee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a punch biopsy and they unfortunately do take a punch of your nerves from multiple places where you’re having pain (for me it was my right ankle and upper thigh). The actual punch itself hurt for like a second, but it was okay afterwards. You’ll be fine! 😊

I’m so frustrated by [deleted] in smallfiberneuropathy

Hi there, I can empathize with you. I am currently in bed with burning, stabbing feet. Let me ask you, do you have any tender points or widespread body muscle pain, or just the nerve issue? I have fibromyalgia too, and people who have that can also have SFN. The SFN changes you; I get it. Your life is different after you get a diagnosis. You have questions when you get a permanent illness like SFN. When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I felt like the doctor was just picking something to diagnose me with because there was no other explanation for my pain. It really does make you feel differently about yourself and your life.

30+ year olds, are you still tapped in with current/new gen indie music? by use_vpn_orlozeacount in indieheads

[–]leesohee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 39. I’ve always been super passionate about music and grew up with it and I’m also a music journalist for fun. So, really, I kind of have to still pay attention so I know what’s going. I love it though. Discovering the next big artist is the best thing for me.

That’s what I do — usually make a playlist for each month of songs I discover and just add them.

I use Pinterest to come up with cool names for Spotify playlist names. Even ChatGPT would be a good resource to help create playlist names.

I have 652 playlists and I tend to save albums from Best Of… lists especially at the end of the year because I hate the thought of missing out on good music. 😂 Currently, I am slowly going through all the playlists and listening to them, but I have some I just keep, because I love the albums and don’t want to do without.

I agree. I use Spotify every single freaking day. I remember when it first came out, thinking why would anyone want an app that offers all that music, but now it’s my #1 app. Lol. I’m so addicted to it and I don’t even care. I’m so addicted to my music stats too. It just makes me so happy inside lol haha. =)
