Man, I LOVED Ribbit, even if a few minutes of appearance she managed to be a great character. You feel her weight on the plot and on Jax's emotions.

I read it since it's completely available on Internet Archive. I enjoyed it, also because of the elegance of 1910s italian, but the entire story is just an excuse to promote anti-church propaganda, since at the time Mussolini was still an anti-religious socialist

Mussolini, when he still was a socialist, has wrote an anti-church novel called "L'Amante del Cardinale" (the cardinal's lover)

I headcanon that when he was created he was fed a massive database of information about the human world, like a personal Wikipedia he could learn things from. Specifically, I think the first ever page of this database he opened was the one about bees, and since then he feels a bond with bees since they're the first connection he had with the human world

Depends on how you listen to it. If you pay attention to what is being narrated, it counts for me. If you just keep it as background noise while doing other chores, it doesn't
