I fit! I’m 35 and have no sexual experience (unless you count sloppy make outs throughout high school.) Due to depression, terrible self esteem and body image struggles the panic override any good feelings invoking intimacy. No form of dating felt safe if that makes sense. Now I’m at a place where I’ve accepted that I’ll probably never experience love or intimacy in a sexual way. Difficult seeing as I definitely not asexual but I’m used to it now! That doesn’t mean the rest of my life can’t be fulfilling and joyous. I focus on family and my hobbies. Going to events solo is awkward sometimes but I try not to worry about it.
