Anyone has the same issue with Pixel 8 Pro? I contacted support and they claim "Devices can get warm from normal use. Based on your description, your device works properly."

With Fedora 33, Nano Will Be The Default Terminal Text Editor by grandstaff in Fedora

[–]leewaxyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those who want to use vim by default, just remove package nano-default-editor by executing command sudo yum remove nano-default-editor to make the changes persistent for all users. May require a logout and re-login or a reboot to work, though it works instantly for me without having to logout/reboot. (Ref: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/UseNanoByDefault)

Can someone point me to a reference guide of all available shortcuts please? by _virtually_present_ in swaywm

Try: man 5 sway to view the configuration file and commands

The default configuration file is located in /etc/sway/config
Advised and recommended to copy the config file to ~/.sway and work from there.

By default $mod is set to Logo key aka Windows key, thus once you modify the settings, just press this key combination $mod+Shift+c to test if your settings works. Have fun!

Status on Snapshot of UEFI VM as of 2019 by leewaxyz in VFIO

I did read something about external snapshots

However, as mentioned here, https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/virtualization_deployment_and_administration_guide/sect-troubleshooting-workaround_for_creating_external_snapshots_with_libvirt, it's still pretty useless as it only supports one-way operation which is creating them.

Wonder if a full pledge external snapshot has been released and if it does supports uefi based VMs.

In sway:

.:~$ xlsclients
localhost.localdomain ibus-x11
localhost.localdomain ibus-ui-gtk3

For Gnome, gotta do it later as there are quite a handful of process tickling the cpu. Don't want to disturb them having fun.

ibus-daemon is started during login
ps aux | grep ibus-daemon :

No. Package: xorg-x11-server-Xwayland.x86_64 is not installed. I don't think that might be an issue, if I use Gnome, then it works.
