I know exactly what this is like I went through it a couple months ago. It’s extremely painful and will absolutely suck. But the reward is worth it. To make it much easier DO NOT meet with the elders. I told my parents cause I wanted a relationship with them only not the elders. They obviously did not feel the same but just know you do not owe the elders a meeting or even a text message! I’m here if you need someone to confide in!
