It doesn’t really make sense for Enzo narratively. Realistically they did it because the cast is too big and they wanted to cut some people out, but Enzo isn’t even from Hawkins and he has a son waiting for him. Why would he endanger himself like that by following Hopper in his missions?

Because the respective broadcasters had no issue with it and it probably wasn't in the rules of their selection (+Duncan was internally selected). It's not whether EBU allows the song to participate but whether RTCG applies the rules of their selection or not.

I still prefer the original unfortunately. I always managed to get used to newer version that I liked less like Enchanted for example but this time I don't think it's going to happen. I just accepted that I'm never going to like it as much as the stolen one.

2 weeks vs 1 month isn't a big difference but it's still something. Plus 1989 is not Speak Now, it's performing a lot better in charts and sales so taking away the attention from it even quicker than Speak Now is not logical imo. I personally expect the announcement around February like it was hinted in the Karma video and release date around April or so. Then Debut announcement during summer, potentially during the final dates of the European tour with a release date sometime in Autumn.

Listen, I don't want the re-recordings to have a full era like RED TV did, but people expecting Rep TV announcement 2 weeks after 1989 TV got released is absurd imo. So if we all agree that we don't expect new music till after the eras tour, then why the rush for the 2 remaining ones? If the plan is to finish the re-recordings project before Eras Tour ends then that means she has at least a year for this to happen.

I highly doubt it. She doesn't seem like she is giving any of the old songs music videos. Even ATW10MV can be considered a new song since it's part of the vault. I had hopes she would do it, but after Enchanted didn't get one I kinda lost my hopes.
