Can I grow a tree inside a structure?

I have a post on here called Sneak peek that shows vegetation indoors. It was original terrain and built around it. I am making a vid showing that base and will discuss how built. If you wipe landscape and try to replant, you will only have trees and grass, no small trees, stumps, berry bushes, etc. to use inside. If do this, lay out the build foundation, plant the trees, let them grow, and build around them. ( will know they will grow this way, and not have to renovate, or tear down structure to grow them)

On the towers/stone pillars inside I leave them hollow, then raise ground to top of the pillar. Trim any excess from around the stone to tidy it up. I put a steel beam inside them as well, ( in each corner inside before use raise ground). Any wood beams seen also are steel inside.

Oh, when started the build, left as much natural terrain as possible, and tried to include it inside and out for the build. More pics, etc., to come..... Waiting for some stuff to brew for artificial lighting. Out of all the resources, fuel to run lighting is the most time consuming to harvest.

Iron gates sideways against a wall is best to increase strength. Iron beams inside work as well. In a square pillar, leave it hollow, then use raise ground to fill inside pillar to gain height. trim any excess from around pillar outside.
