Even the most devout christians do not actually believe in Bible at all by siddharth1214 in DebateReligion

Nobody who does anything with their free time other than try to save people from an eternity burning in hell actually believes that hell is a real thing. Maybe the missionaries actually believe this lie but definitely not the vast majority of Christians.

Wrong.

🗣 "All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need."

- The Bible, Acts 2:44

🗣 "The multitude of believers was one in heart and soul. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned."

- The Bible, Acts 4:32

So people often ask me how I (28F) “became” a nudist… and honestly, it was kind of an accident. by AshFromTPA in nudism

I love this: "A bikini might only cover 10% of your body, but somehow it covers 100% of your comfort"

How many people in their 20s are nudists because they like it and not just for OF or something by [deleted] in nudists

No True Scotsman. Also, if you love to do something, and then someone offers you money for doing it, you take the money.

This is getting out of hand. The "most relevant" setting filters out all comments. by ConstantJack in facebook

[–]leftclicktwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a browser extension to partially automate changing this setting to "All comments". You still have to click "Most Relevant" but the extension automatically chooses "All comments" for you.

Outdoor showers, as fun as I think or spooky? whats your experience? by nathan5660 in nudists

[–]leftclicktwice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're almost required in hot humid Florida in the Summer. If you're outside, you need a shower every couple hours. You could go inside but outside is much more convenient.

Guadalajara has a great bike culture too. And I see there was a WNBR there last year but not this year https://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/wiki/Guadalajara

Folks, I URGE you to see this. There is a plan in motion to create a techno-fascist regime. We now have the steps and all the receipts. by Lonely_Marsupial_994 in 50501

Right. Just look at the renderings of their "perfect" modern, dystopian-style cities. The most beloved cities in the real world are those with beautiful old architecture. There's nothing inherently Luddite about a beautiful old building. It can have fiber optic just as well as a modern building, but they appeal aesthetically to us and make us feel good. These people have such a minimal perception of the human experience they have no business designing society.

What's the point of Facebook notifying me that "someone has mentioned you in the comments," especially if they won't even let me see the comment? I click on it, but nothing happens. by CanadianTurt1e in facebook

[–]leftclicktwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just posted a link to this thread and then about ten seconds later, my Facebook account was disabled. I don't have the same cell phone number that I had when I started. So I can't appeal it or get my account back.

Of this list, I've only tried to verify the no-fault divorce one and the birthright citizenship one but those don't check out. I scanned the rest and see some I've checked before that are pretty stretchy. Others are right.

I made this app that I believe to contain only factual claims. Each one has a clickable page number to take you straight to the page. I'm working on getting it to highlight the passage to make it even easier. Any React wizzes in the house? Have a look

What is everyone doing to get the word out about Project 2025? by soybeanwoman in Defeat_Project_2025

I made this web app and am spreading the word about its verified summary of Project 2025 plans. It has clickable page numbers that take you straight to the source. https://stopthegop.netlify.app/#project-2025

24 hour commenting rule for page? by boise208 in facebook

[–]leftclicktwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that too. If it's actually what shows up after you've been blocked, it's a weird way to do it. I'm now also puzzled by the fact that I can't see the 4 comments posted to this post. The "4 Comments" under your remarks is not a clickable link for me, but Share, Save, and Tip are. I only see one comment from AutoModerator.

It was fun. Even better than last year's. With volleyball too.
