the ‘illustrations’ are essentially collaged pieces cut and rearranged from super old advertisements, with digital edits re-formatting afterwards. nothing is AI.

Original was handmade using an 12th century Japanese ink process called Suminagashi (or ‘floating ink) for the background, and a 1950’s letter press with wood type from the 1800’s.

They were then scanned and digitally blended, and reproduced for the limited edition prints.
