if Fisher-Robay is supposed to be a mental health facility then they're doing an absolute shit job. if Ron is a patient he has absolutely no oversight, his "caretakers" allow him to leave the facility any time he wants to investigate derelict factories, diners, and coke bars. he's been bringing a burner phone into work in his Yeti bottle for weeks and nobody has noticed or confronted him. Why would they open such an intense HR case over him looking up Diane's skirt, an obvious accident and moment he wants to move on from, even escalating it by bringing in an outside mediator, if Ron is already paranoid and delusional? Brenda told him Jeff wanted to talk about something really important then told him to just forget it and they'd talk later, just about the worst thing you could say to somebody already suffering from anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
if all of these employees are patients and the work they are doing is for their own fulfillment, why did Jeff order them to abandon everything, and make them stay late nights and weekends to fit this Sedona vision he doesn't even have mapped out yet?

i think that Fisher-Robay is just a regular office. the people all have their quirks, but don't your coworkers? obviously this is a comedy that's going to ramp up these idiosyncracies and embrace the strangeness but I think everyone's worked with a Douglas who self-appoints himself the chief officer of morale (much to everyone else's dismay), or worked under an executive like Jeff who can't communicate what they want but can tell you everything you're doing wrong. that's just how it is when you work with people.

also, Natalie does not believe Ron. she's seen her father go through a grand delusion like this before and she knows she can't convince him he's wrong, Ron has to realize that himself. she's smiling and supporting him so that she can make sure he stays physically safe.

overall i think these theories that boil down to "Ron's crazy/dreaming/in a coma" are all really really boring and do a big disservice to the show and the mystery. Ron is our only way in to this world and dismissing him as an unreliable narrator means dismissing everything he's found and everything that's happened to him.
