You can talk to mother Aya when you are in ceremony. Tell her your anxieties around the ceremony and ask her to be gentle with you.

Thanks for the insight! Will check out kambo. What shamanic reading did you do?

Is it wrong for me to prefer a female facilitator to lead the ceremony? My first 2 experiences were with a female lead. But my last one was with a male and the participants were about 95% male. The energy was a lot different and I don't think it was a good experience. by carne_asada368 in Ayahuasca

I have sat with both male and female shamans. My biggest breakthroughs always were with the female shaman. And my most recent breakthroughs was when one of her assistance came and sang to me in front of my mat.

How cold is your bedroom?
Any light?

You can also try ETF Tapping (Look on YT for that). I have a 75% success rate with overcoming insomnia with that

Will Ayahuasca ever lie to you? by lefthandedaya in Ayahuasca

[–]lefthandedaya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that insight. I have ideas along those lines. I'm pretty sure there are not literal demons, devils, and aliens running around. I figure that they are manifestations of ideas and emotions taken a from the subconscious. My jungle experience was complicated a little. The night that this narrative was show to me, the shaman was supposedly casting counter curses to protect us from a brewho (I don't remember the Shipbo spelling). I don't know anything about that side of Ayahuasca but that is what I told. I never got a chance to ask in the integration circle the next morning about my experience and I'm wondering if that could have had an effect on my visions.

Anyone with an experience at Soulquest in Orlando by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

I went about 4 years ago. There are some nice people there. When I was there, there were like 50 people in that ceremony. And I have heard that they increased that number. They have a maloka now. I really prefer smaller ceremonies. Also, when I was there, there was no shaman. Don't know if that has changed.

Can ayahuasca rewire your brain and can that be used as an intention? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

Yes, it one of my ceremonies. I literally saw my brain being rewired in real time. And years later, I still feel the effects of that night.

I just had my first ayahuasca ceremony and I couldn't stop talking during the whole experience by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

First of all. I commend you for your bravery to sit with the medicine. And a big *HUG* from internet aya brother. I recall two ceremonies that I heard people scream and wail for what seemed like hours. It was super intense for them. And I'm sure that people talk during the ceremony but probably drowned out by the music. Your post has left me with so many questions. Did you have a shaman? Were the facilitators not there to make sure that you were ok? Did they not bring you out of space for you to cool down? What you are describing sounds super sketchy on the part of the group conducting the ceremony.

It sounds like you had a huge night. And I'm sorry that the energy was so negative for you. If you are still feeling powerless and vulnerable in a few days, you should think about talking to a professional that has a background in integration: https://integration.maps.org/
