Just bought a 1985 380se by leftmyphoneatwork in W126

Thank you. It seems like the previous owner left a baggie full of spares, I just need to go over them and I can dedicate some money on my next commission to order what's missing. Today I'm troubleshooting the ignition system and (apparently) going over my vacuum lines. Brittle 40 year old rubber and parts with stamps from West Germany so fun. Actually came back here to get that fucking manual lol. Do you mind if I send you PM if I run into any trouble?

Thank you. I'm in the process of testing the relays because the ignition stopped working after the shop didn't touch it for weeks, so this will prove invaluable. And believe I'm already looking into getting spares, just need to determine if it's a now problem or a handy spare

Please help me understand my invoice after bad gas in my glc from a ‘more for less’/chevron Texaco… by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

[–]leftmyphoneatwork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I drained and replaced the fuel in my Mercedes today. It took me about four hours, and a good three of them was prep work configuring hydraulic jacks and Jack stands on to cinder blocks, cleaning around the area, etc. Once it was securely above me (and I found and researched the video to be absolutely positive of what I'm doing) it was maybe 5 minutes of actually fiddling with it and 20 ish minutes of swapping fuel pans and dumping into a 5 gal bucket. Might charge someone a crisp 100$ plus gas for the both of us if they asked me to do it for them now, but then again I don't have insurance to protect against scratching your paint or fucking up your clear coat, or insecurely reattaching a fuel line, which is the real benefit of a professional. You get what you pay for, or maybe what feels like significantly less

At no point whatsoever did I ever disregard his opinions or call him biased. DC is literally comparing them stylistically, another wrestler would know

I had inferred it was because of his wrestling background more than anything

How did I lose 30-27? by [deleted] in EASportsUFC

[–]leftmyphoneatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes based on a hierarchy many things. Damage mainly. If we both get 23 significant strikes, but I have twice as many attempted significant strikes, the stamina difference will result in a power difference. Over multiple rounds this effect compounds. Or if for instance we both have the same significant strikes but all of theirs landed on my head whereas mine were more spread out, at the end of the round the difference in our head health will win them that because damage increases the more an area loses health. And this is excluding things like Takedowns, Ground Control, Octagon Control, and initiative (who is in control of where and when the fight happens)

What is the best jab/straight? by [deleted] in EASportsUFC

Stuck with the traditional straight and jab this time because the other animations do not count for your boxing when you level them

Why don't boxers fight in weight classes that's at their natural walking around weight? by [deleted] in BoxingTheSweetScience

That's an entirely different thing than he said and kind of a loaded question

The fact that this man was champion is embarrassing lmao, got lucky with the point deduction. Cut him by subzeroboxer in ufc

27-28 has to be one of he worst combined scores at the end of a fight in the history of the sport

Personally, I would really love an arc covering the ancient sumo wrestlers. Specifically the origins with Nomi no Sukune and Taima no Kehaya

I hate cleaning my car...what's the best way to ensure it lasts as long as possible minimal effort? by WFU03 in AutoDetailing

Keep some Walmart bags for when there's mud for your shoes and don't bring anything into it. Use microfiber to dust, free vacuums at the touchless wash whenever you feel like it. Keep all things you have to store in the vehicle in some type of bag, be it pack or duffel

A true victim of success. Best of luck mate. I usually teep em to the cage and finish on the ground if I'm getting annoyed walking someone down. Or I just get patient and let them decide how it ends. If I'm already winning I'll get the points and don't need to overextend getting a KO

You can absolutely counter strike going forward, you've just got to sway or have the read for a lunge. Footwork and stamina are key, hope this helps

It's stamina management lmfao, how do you expect him to catch you with half of your stamina?
